Yeah, it’s a reclaimed slur. A lot of people still see it as a slur. How people view that word really depends on age and location. Where I grew up the q-slur was much worse than the f-slur. F-slur was a rude word to talk about gay stuff or feminine men, but the q-slur was what was used when someone gets bashed

I said f slur cuz ik there are some people who arent comfortable around that word, but yeah I totally get that, Im only 16 but still Ive been hurt by that word many times. My perspective on it, is if I normalize it and reclaim it to my vocabulary, them being called one wouldnt sting as much, or make me feel as alienated
